By doing this, we combine values that have evolved over decades within the Hager Group together with globally valid policies for fair cooperation.

The Hager Group has taken its bearings from the 30 Articles of the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the standards of the International Labour Organisation (ILO) and the guiding principles for multinational corporations of the OECD (Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development) . At the same time we make sure that our suppliers and business associates adhere to standards relating to mandatory human rights and labour regulations. By following these directives, we strive to pursue a fair environment of competition with high international diversity.

Bearing in mind the maxim ‘trust, but verify’, the Global Compact's most important instrument is their annual 'Communications on Progress' report in which its members document which principles they have implemented and to which extent. In 2010 the Hager Group Communications on Progress report was published for the first time. Why not take a look at it?
