Hager Group receives the Prix de l’Excellence Sociétale 2009

On 25th March, Hager Group was awarded the Prix de l’Excellence Sociétale (award for corporate culture excellence), a distinction created within the framework of the "Grand Prix de l’Entreprise Patrimoniale et Familiale" (Grand Prix for owner-managed and family businesses), whose theme for 2009 was sustainable growth.

The aim of this award is to recognise and reward owner-managed businesses that, as part of a coherent, long-term strategy, successfully stand out by putting in place the conditions for sustainable growth. It looks to highlight the ethical and entrepreneurial excellence of companies according to the following criteria:
  • the ability to innovate
  • the ability to achieve successful internationalisation
  • irreproachable quality management
  • gaining customer and employee loyalty, in addition to
  • optimal supplier management
  • an environmentally friendly approach
This award is organised by:
  • ASMEP (the association of medium-sized owner-managed companies) chaired by Yvon Gattaz
  • in collaboration with the banking firm Lombard Odier, a benchmark player in the main financial markets and recognised for its commitment in the field of sustainable development
The award was presented to Daniel Hager during an event organised at the French Senate (Paris) in the presence of Mr Hervé Novelli, secretary of state for SMEs (Small and medium companies) and Mr Brice Hortefeux, the Employment minister.

The two other winners are:
  • JCDecaux for the Grand Prix de l’Entreprise Patrimoniale et Familiale
  • Pernod Ricard for the Prix d’Honneur.
