With its contribution "job security and care management", the Hager Group won the German award of the professional organisation "Berufsgenossenschaft Handel und Warendistribution" (BGHW). The members of the jury agreed upon the Hager Group’s outstanding contribution in the field of safety and workplace health promotion and the well being of its members of staff – setting an outstanding example for other companies.
The prize money in the category "healthy staff – healthy company“ amounts to € 15,000. The official award ceremony was hold on the 4th of November 2009, in Radebeul near Dresden.
