Learning and Development Management:

The Group prides itself on its clear and structured Training System supported through the Investors in People framework that is applied internationally. This system supports the different needs of employees; ranging from cultural training, management and leadership programmes, professional learning and qualifications to self-development packages. The Hager Group also provides financial support for educational programmes that support personal development within the Group.

Career Management:

In support of the rapid growth within the overall company the Hager Group operates a world-wide career management system. This provides a structured focus on the competency development of the teams and Career Committees are set up to improve the management of career development inside the Group; all this with the target to align individual growth and aspirations with the company’s development, on a fair and open platform. The flexibility of this system enables the Hager Group to provide various career development channels, including internal transfers & promotion, job rotation, and job enrichment.
The Personal Development Plan is a key tool within this system for the people to communicate with the company about their development within the Hager Group. Each employee has a minimum of one PDP meeting per year with their manager for this purpose, providing another excellent forum for open communication.
