Innovations and the systematic enhancement of the products and systems are key features of the Hager brand. It has always been our goal to use new designs and improvements to stay ahead of developments.

The use of innovations and new technologies at Hager is always customer-driven. Every year, Hager evaluates countless communications with its thousands of contacts, resulting in detailed knowledge of its customers’ needs.

80 per cent of Hager products and systems are younger than five years. This high degree of innovation provides our customers with a wide choice of solutions in order to meet various new challenges effectively. The strong demand for innovations and enhancements of Hager products is a good indicator for this customer-driven policy.

Today, Hager employs about 660 engineers in research and development (R&D) and invests about five per cent of its revenue for R&D, since Hager strives permanently to offer innovative and value-adding systems to its customers. Every year, Hager applies for about 170 new patents.
